The Gettys Center
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Gettys Center has been in its’ current location since 1932 and has served as Rock Hill’s Post Office and City Hall until 1986. It was Rock Hill’s first high-rise. Named for then US Representative, Tom S. Gettys who had an office on the third floor. Under the management of the Arts Council of York County the Gettys Center is now a thriving arts destination, hosting music in the courtroom, offices have turned to gallery spaces, and pottery studios and shops grace the former post office. Stop in at 201 E. Main Street to experience the historic grandeur and architectural craftsmanship. Stay for the art.
